May 15, 2008 (FPRC) — COLOGNE, Germany – Mobile social network “qeep” recently reached 100,000 registered users, with registrants continuing to arrive at a rate of 1,500 to 2,000 new users per day. The network has won increased worldwide attention by adapting to suit the needs of an international market.
“Qeep’s international success is primarily due to the versatile design of the community, which allow users to comfortably interact across cultures,” said Christian Schulte, co-founder and managing director of Blue Lion mobile, which produced qeep. Among the most popular features have been qeep’s free “QMS” messaging system and its photo-sharing service. Users of the network, or “Qeepers,” as they are called, have sent 2 million messages and blogged 20,000 photos in just three months.
